Hyderabad, July 31: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy has informed that the Congress party would organise dharnas at all MRO offices across Telangana State in protest against the TRS Government’s failure to fulfill the promise of providing 2BHK flats to poor.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the TRS Government has completely neglected the welfare of poor and did not take any concrete measures to provide 2BHK flats to the poor, as was promised during elections. He said that the Congress party would conduct dharna demanding that the TRS Government fulfill its promise and also release pending dues of Indiramma Housing.
The TPCC chief also challenged TRS Government to prove the allegations of corruption in execution of housing schemes during the previous Congress regime. He said that the Congress leaders were ready to face any kind of probe. (INN)
